Product Application
Tecsound 70SY mass loaded vinyl is suitable for application on walls and floors. For ceilings, we suggest using Tecsound SY50 self-adhesive. This product is effective in constructing high-performance walls and is commonly employed in conjunction with acoustic mineral wool, acoustic plasterboards, and resilient bars.
When used on the floor, it can be seamlessly paired with our SBx board collection and mineral wool to establish a superior airborne and impact sound barrier, safeguarding against noise from lower levels. Enhancing the robustness of performance, we recommend doubling up Tecsound 70 on floors to achieve a density of 14kg/m2.
On the ceilings we recommend the use of the self adhesive Tecsound 50SY to make application more straight forward.
