With the LB3 type fixing you can fit the GenieClip system while suffering virtually no ceiling height loss whatsoever. This bracket fastens to the inside of the joist such that the furring channel can sit just below the run of the joists.
The LB3 GenieClip is screwed direct to joist working in the same manner that a resilient bar ceiling would, and it houses the "furring strips". To these furring strips plasterboard is attached using screws.
We recommend that you fasten to the side of each joist with a centre of 1.2m apart per clip.

These furring strips are specially designed for use with the GenieClip system, including the LB2 and LB3 systems. As the same GenieClip is used across the three systems the same furring strip can be used, keeping things nice and simple.
Please Note: Other furring strips will not fit the GenieClip system.
